He didn’t understand why he egged her on, but he couldn’t seem to help himself. “I’m not a whore-hound, as you so sweetly called me. I’m a lover who pays his dues, and if I recall, I didn’t pay you yet for the good time I had.”
She opened her mouth to most likely reprimand him, but before she could utter a sound, he pressed his lips over hers, silencing the words with his mouth. His hand went to the back of her head, his fingers sliding into her hair, refusing to let her pull away. She tasted even better the second time around. Her scent of jasmine and orange blossoms with just a hint of vanilla hit his nostrils, enticing him further. God, he wished this woman were one of Maribel’s girls. He wanted to taste more of her if she was willing. He pulled away, if only to take a breath and regain his self-control.
