Obviously, Maverick remembered how he left things with Eastyn. “I haven’t worked out all the kinks.” Which was putting it mildly.
Maverick’s right brow quirked. “You might want to come up with something before you see her.”
“Don’t I know it.”
“Here you go, boys,” Rowan said as she placed the plates in front of them with a roast beef sandwich and potato chips. “I’m heading upstairs,” she told Maverick then and leaned in to give him a kiss. Maverick returned the gesture with a caress of his own before he watched Rowan head toward the back.
“How did you land someone so classy?” Drake teased.
Possible Blurb:
Eastyn has her soda shop to run and specialty ice creams to create. Only the place is falling apart, and she may have a haunted jukebox that chooses songs to communicate. If things couldn’t get any more complicated, Drake, her ex-fiancé, returns home after five years on the road with his rock band, Never Mind the Damage.
Eastyn vows not to fall for Drake’s charms again, but when you have a lifetime of memories with the man, the heart seems not to care about pledges. Her haunted jukebox believes choosing the right song to twirl and dip to is the answer to everything. However, Eastyn isn’t convinced. She wants to know if Drake is home for good, or will he break her heart all over again?

Two Worlds Collided is one of my favorite tales about time travel, romance, and second chances. You can revisit the story at Audible, or if you haven’t read it yet, experience the adventure for the first time as the narrator opens the door to a new world. That’s right. You heard it hear first. Two Worlds Collided is available in an audiobook format narrated by the talented Sharmila Devar.
Are you excited yet? Yes, you say. Me, too. ♥

I like their camaraderie. It says a lot about their characters.
Yeah, he’s definitely going to need to get his thoughts straight and ready it sounds like.
Their friendship feels so natural . . . and that’s some mighty advice!
Yes, Drake had better think about his plan and not try to wing it….enjoyed the snippet!
I love the relationships among all the characters.
Good thing he has friends in his corner. I think he’s going to need them!
Maverick is a smart man, and Drake would be wise to listen to him. Nice snippet!
He’s going to need a good friend at a time like this. He needs to make a plan. Great snippet!
What he needs is a good song. 🙂
I wonder if Maverick will have any suggestions about how to deal with Eastyn. If not, his advice is kind of useless — although how could he be expected to heal their rift without knowing all the details? It’s a dilemma.
Yes, he needs a plan. These characters seem friendly and easy to like.
If I wasn’t so full of turkey and pumpkin pie – I’s think a roast beef sandwich and chips would be pretty amazing!

I shouldn’t read your posts so close to supper… all this food and music makes me want to order from my fav diner. I’m torn, I want him to have a plan but I think what ever plan he comes up with may go out the window when he sees her.
