A story to tell. Twirl and Dip

“I didn’t realize anything was missing in my life until she walked into my coffeehouse,” Maverick said and glanced at him.

Drake chuckled. “Why do I have a feeling there’s a story there?”

“There is.” His lips curved and he seemed for a moment lost in thought.

“I hope you aren’t going to keep me in suspense.”

They chatted for hours, catching up and reminiscing about old times. The story about how Rowan and Maverick became involved proved a tale worthy of a movie of the week with a mystery and ghosts to boot. Sometimes real life proved more interesting than fiction.

When they finally called it a night, they headed outside the coffeehouse to the courtyard and headed up the stairs to the apartments above the coffeehouse.

Possible Blurb:

Eastyn has her soda shop to run and specialty ice creams to create. Only the place is falling apart, and she may have a haunted jukebox that chooses songs to communicate. If things couldn’t get any more complicated, Drake, her ex-fiancé, returns home after five years on the road with his rock band, Never Mind the Damage.

Eastyn vows not to fall for Drake’s charms again, but when you have a lifetime of memories with the man, the heart seems not to care about pledges. Her haunted jukebox believes choosing the right song to twirl and dip to is the answer to everything. However, Eastyn isn’t convinced. She wants to know if Drake is home for good, or will he break her heart all over again?

Latest Audiobook Release.

Holly Adams narrated Heart and Soul, the third story in the Rock and Roll romance series. Now available at Audible.

Two Worlds Collided is one of my favorite tales about time travel, romance, and second chances. You can revisit the story at Audible, or if you haven’t read it yet, experience the adventure for the first time as the narrator opens the door to a new world. That’s right. You heard it hear first. Two Worlds Collided is available in an audiobook format narrated by the talented Sharmila Devar.

Are you excited yet? Yes, you say. Me, too.

  1. I wonder if Drake learned anything from learning about how Maverick and Rowan got together, anything that can help him for when he sees Eastyn again. Nice snippet!

  2. Having read Heart and Soul made me feel like I was ‘in’ on this conversation. So far, though, I haven’t seen any signs of ghosts in this story.

  3. I didn’t realize anything was missing in my life until she walked into my coffeehouse,” – isn’t this often the case 😉 Nice snippet.

  4. I haven’t read the previous story, but now I want to. Great way to hook readers into other books without overloading them with details other readers already know.
