Set up: Michaela just challenged Alan to a game of darts and won. Alan gallantly compliments her on a job well done. However, their fun time may be at an end when blondie shows up to join the party…

Michaela chuckled, but her smile slid away to confusion when her gaze caught sight of a blonde woman near the front entrance of the pub. Her heated gaze narrowed in on them—first to Hyatt then to Alan before the blonde’s gaze shifted to her. Blondie’s nostrils flared as if she disliked Michaela on the spot. She could be a disgruntled girlfriend perhaps, but whose—Alan’s or Hyatt’s?
Blondie’s strides were long and purposeful, heading right toward them. Oh goody, Michaela groaned inwardly. A confrontation, she couldn’t wait.
“Alan, Hyatt,” the woman announced the names as an accusation.

Hmmm . . .
I’m thinking Blondie might be either a disgruntled girlfriend of Hyatt, or another of their people who was trapped in the Loch—though I thought they volunteered so that wouldn’t happen?—or maybe just someone in the know?
Either way, yeah, this isn’t going to be pretty.
