“Though I’m not sure what I’m ready for. Do I hope to see a ghost or if I should say a silent prayer that I don’t.”
He grinned. “It’s all in fun. Besides, if a ghost tries to get you, I promise I’ll save you.” He waved his hand in front of him like a gallant knight for her to go down the stairs ahead of him. “After you.”
“Who’s going to save you?” she threw over her shoulder and she bounded down the stairs.
“You, of course.” This made her chuckle.

Three decades later, a thirty-year-old woman, Rowan Beckett recalls things only Haley Rose would know and she can belt out songs in the same fashion as the missing 80s star.
